Digital Frame Hunt

I’ve been looking for a cheap digital frame that I can use at work I don’t want my desk to be crowded by too many and various frames to show some of my favorite photos. The solution of digital frame perfectly fit what I need. I’m hoping to find a bigger size of frame but will not break our budget.. So hopefully I can find one. It doesn’t really matter if it is second hand.. as long as it works to my needs. I want at least 7” or big enough to show off 5×7 photos.

I’m trying to save all pennies as much as I can because of big expenses we’re expecting. I cancelled my parking at work, took the train to work, avoid eating on fast food, brought my own lunch, bought foods on bulk, downgrade our cable subscription, step down on internet speed we need.. and more. However, downgrading internet speed is not really helpful. Hahah I have to go back and subscribe to the old service we have. I cannot work with slow internet, it’s not productive and I cannot afford wasting time. Anyway, it’s only $5 more to double up the speed.. hahahha I’m so cheap huh? I’m a real penny pincher! lol With faster internet again, I can search Insinkerator for better prices in seconds No more waiting.. I hope! Life can be tough sometimes.. the more you’re trying to save, the more it will accumulate cost.

We Need Snow

I didn’t go to work today because of my floating furlough day for this month. And it’s a good thing I was able to look at things that we need to organize on the garage. I noticed that we still have the snow sleds we bought when Lianne was only two years old. Yaaay, this definitely need us to schedule vacation on winter time. My son who is turning two have not visited Tahoe area.. that gives us another reason to really pursue a trip to Tahoe this winter.

I’m going back trading soon.. for now I’m busy scouting for good stocks to buy and keep. Something that has future like Berkshire Hathaway lol I don’t want investing money upgrading to modern furniture at home. I don’t see the value increasing. And also, I will be back to trading forex part-time again. I laying too many plans for this year.. and I’m hoping again to meet all of it I really believe on what they said to visualize everything that you want to happen or accomplished. The more it will be realistic and achievable Do you also believe on that?

When we’re hanging out in our backyard and it’s cold, we always wished that we have outdoor fireplaces in each post of the fence to keep us warm. I know it’s only a wish and it will never happen. I rather spend the money to our floor to convert the carpet to wood flooring. How I wish I had enough money to do what I want. And who knows I will have money that I need to get what I want soon? lol

Yes, that needs hardwork! We’re off to a hardware store tomorrow to check some sales or offer for our flooring plans.

My SLR Upgrade

I found myself browsing and comparing Nikon dSLR again. Yes, I’ve been reading camera reviews to get good feedback on what will be my selection for upgrades. I don’t have the money yet.. just looking and will try to save for the price. I have not found one that will replace my D80. I mean tons can replace it.. but can’t get the amount on my finance side. lol But I’m glad that easy camera comparison and camera feedback is available online to educate us consumer before buying it. Another reason why I’m thankful for the internet

I’m blessed that I live in the country where accommodates all sizes of clothing – whether you need clothing for tall, petite, average, misses, pluz sizes, even apple bottom pants. It has good and bad advantages.. It’s good cause when you need to go for an event, you can easily get fancy dress without problem finding your size. The bad thing about it, you don’t worry gaining weight cause you know you can buy clothes bigger if the others starts to get tighter. Oh well, that’s one of my reason why I didn’t worry gaining weight before. lol

I wouldn’t blame anyone to consider cheap car insurance to save extra dollars from this economy. Some doesn’t care the comprehensive coverage, as long as they can get approval to register their car. Very sad in our economy now. It’s taking too long to recover. I’m not considering fly-by-night company to replace our insurance coverage.. not yet. Who knows it will be my last resort to squeeze money.

How about you? Have you thought about changing your car insurance policy to save money?

My Vitamins

What includes being healthy? I know that one is taking vitamins regularly I only started taking vitamins when I was 23 years old.. the time when I got pregnant. But now that I’m getting old, regular dosage of supplements is a must! Yes, not anymore an options to be healthy.

Sharing what my pills basket looks like.. I often buy stuff in bulk to save and that explains the big bottles. lol Also showing my diabetic testing supplies which I don’t really use now. hahahah

I read this great article from a magazine and I just want to share the information that really amaze me how God created our intrinsic body parts

We’re aware that residents of ancient cities built defensive walls to ward off invaders. The city wall acted both as a bulwark to stop the enemy and as a rampart from which defenders could protect the city. Your body is likewise endowed with a protective “wall”—your skin. How does your skin protect you from intruders? The surface of your skin teems with bacteria and other microorganisms, some of which can cause infection and disease. Your skin apparently does more than act as a passive barrier. It also seems to ward off invaders by producing antimicrobial proteins, or peptides, that act as defenders. Some of these are on duty constantly. Others line up when the skin is damaged. The first two groups of antimicrobial peptides discovered, called defensins and cathelicidins, proved to be defenders on call. Both groups are secreted by cells in the upper skin in response to injuries or inflammation. They kill invaders by punching holes in their cell membranes.

In 2001 a team of researchers at the University of Tübingen, Germany, found another type of germ-fighting protein, called dermicidin, which is active all the time. Unlike the other two groups, dermicidin is produced by healthy skin, in the sweat glands. How this protein works is yet unknown. But the fact that perspiration helps ward off disease might explain why people who wash excessively are more prone to skin infections and eczema. And I’m thankful that eczema treatment is available for us.

Like an ancient city wall, our skin is a barrier against enemy invaders. Surely, you would agree with the psalmist who said: “How many your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have made.”—Psalm 104:24.

Diet Right 4 Your Blood

I don’t think I need to take apidexin anymore. After discovering the wonder of Atkins Diet, using diet pills never enter my mind again. I was hopeless too before.. I kept on searching for that magic pills that can bring quick weight loss.. and that path was really dangerous. I’m glad that I didn’t fall on those promises of diet pills to give a healthy and sexy body.

Another thing, I’m reading about diet based on blood type, and that’s the reason why diet pills may not work for everyone. Because our blood type has different reaction on every chemical we add into our system. And I’m one of these people who reacts or I should say will not react good with diet pills. Pork Barbeque

Our backyard is landscaped by my husband with the goal in mind that kids can play but without the thought to accommodate visitors. =) I cannot wait to change the landscape and add some patio cushions to accommodate friends. I would love to prepare some bbq with friends in our backyard too.

This is the typical bbq that Filipino gathering always have A real pork meat not hamburger or hotdog.

Acne, Acne, Go Away!

I’ve been spending most of my time reading information from www.acnetreatmentsreview.net regarding my hormonal acne. I tried various acne products that normally helps me on the first week or month.. but my problem will still occur the following month. Since the cause of my breakouts is really from inside my body.. the solution should also come from inside. And I read a book that advises different supplements to take for taming my over reactive hormones. I will definitely try it. I just need to do more readings before purchasing it.

I hope this young boy will not have a problem like me in the future

Healthy Supplements

Being bulky or muscular is something I don’t want to happen when I lose weight. Although it looks attractive to some people, I don’t think it will be to me. So I’m not thinking to add muscle supplements to my daily dose of pills.. that means I don’t need to hang out and read muscle supplement reviews from the forum.

And look taking supplements to make me healthy is a lot already.

I’m thankful that I don’t have to shop for blackhead remover for my skin; however, I have acne prone skin that caused by my hormones. I’m just being thankful that I don’t have too many things to think when it comes to my skin.. it could be a big problem for me but too little for other people.. or it could be vice versa. I called in sick today cause I woke up very late.. not enough sleep at night is also contributing to the cause of my breakouts. So who else to blame? No one else.. but me.

Taking Memories

I have tons of photo of the kids and I wish we have LCD TV on the living room to showcase all their photos. My kids are growing and I know I cannot stop it. lol All I can do is to preserve the memories thru taking picture. So I take all the moments everyday to capture in my camera as much as possible.

Below is taken while they are having fun on the backyard with the sprinkle on. One Saturday night where it’s reall, really hot!

Who wouldn’t like a healthy quick weight loss? I will be the first one to say YES! Of course losing it quickly is as important as keeping it off. It will be useless if you will loose weight quickly then gain all it back quicker than when you lose it.

The kids just have their bath and we will be leaving 1.5 hours from now to the graduation party at the park. Another fun day for the kids!

I think the cream I am using for my face will not work for my mom. She has different needs than me. One of her concerns is wrinkle removal and prevention. I found few products that look like best for her, based on the feedback and advertisements; however, the tag price is pretty much steep for just a small jar of cream.
