When we’re hanging out in our backyard and it’s cold, we always wished that we have outdoor fireplaces in each post of the fence to keep us warm. I know it’s only a wish and it will never happen. I rather spend the money to our floor to convert the carpet to wood flooring. How I wish I had enough money to do what I want. And who knows I will have money that I need to get what I want soon? lol

Yes, that needs hardwork! We’re off to a hardware store tomorrow to check some sales or offer for our flooring plans.

I wouldn’t blame anyone to consider cheap car insurance to save extra dollars from this economy. Some doesn’t care the comprehensive coverage, as long as they can get approval to register their car. Very sad in our economy now. It’s taking too long to recover. I’m not considering fly-by-night company to replace our insurance coverage.. not yet. Who knows it will be my last resort to squeeze money.

This month sis the last month that we will have 3 days furlough. This will be both sad and happy month.

Plans for today:

• Bring Gabe to the gym @ 10am
• Study for 2 hours working on Multiple Choice
• Attend graduation party at the park @ 2pm
• Return acne treatment that I have reaction on
• Finish some online task

So another fun filled day is ahead of me!

I remember scouting for the best diet program and pills that will work on losing weight, I even remember learning stuff from www.hcgdiet.net and almost was about to apply. However, my friend shared information about Atkins Diet, the program I’m familiar off the name but don’t really know that deep. I have impression that it’s not healthy because it lets you eat all the fats and for me that is unhealthy. lol

I’m like that, so quick to judge sometimes without verifying the facts. Anyway, I bought the book and read it as fast as I can to educate myself more about this diet. And I realized that this is the diet that will surely work for me. So there it goes.. my Atkins life begins

We attended a graduation party yesterday and we ate in a buffet restaurant! Very tempting and bad for my diet. I didn’t fall in eating the sweets and carbs but I ate tons of meat and seafood, like two plates. I feel guilty but I should not dwell on it. I have to go on and still be positive..

Another thing too, my daughter is complaining on her boots and keeps on whining to go home. I bought her new socks to stop from complaining.. so why socks and not new boots? Because the socks is cheaper. lol I just want to divert her attention on the new socks and away from being tired.

I just renewed my mom’s and my own life insurance but I need to request another life insurance quote for husband. And I always have no time to do things, this is one of many things I want to accomplish this week. It sounds that I will be spending a long time in front of the computer on the weekend. Yaaay! I hope I can get all things done quickly and no interruption. We will attend a retirement party in Saturday afternoon and will join in the field service in the morning, so the only weekend I have free is Sunday afternoon, after the meeting in the morning. Family life.. busy all the time.

We’re are visiting our neighborhood for our invitation campaign regarding memorial of Jesus death and we found a house where the doorbell is very confusing. From what I know, doorbell or the front door should be accessible from or on the street where your address at. For example, if your house is in the corner of Apple and Orange Street, and your address is 123 Apple Street, then your house/gate should be fronting the Apple Street. However, the house we went today is very confusing we cannot find the doorbell facing on the street address. What we found is another door with doorbell and facing the other corner street. =( It was total disaster finding the correct house. Oh well, we just left the invitation anyway.

I saw this personalized lip balm online and I realized that this is a good giveaway to my younger friends and Lianne’s Ate. I think this is also good giveaways if your company is related into fashion or your location gets a weather that is too dry thus needing a lip balm for you clients. I need to check the layout design so I can start designing one for my daughter’s giveaway.

That’s how my siblings describes my attitude when it comes to venturing in business, truly “I fear no one” when it comes to investing money. I always believe that you can gain money and you can lost it easily.. so no need to get scared. Everything we do involves risk.. it’s a matter of determining the risk you are willing to accept and deal with it. Think of the worst too. Our decision will not always bring good results but our attitude to accept losses and learning from it will help us to avoid committing another one again.

Do not be scared of investing. I remember recommending a friend to upgrade their system to acquire barcode scanners to minimize cost of their inventory keeping, but she is very afraid to put the money out or upgrade their system. In the end, after 3 years, they decided to do it and just on the first year, the percentage of their income went up not because they increase the sales.. but they were able to minimize the cost. Isn’t that nice?

That’s why research, get more information of something you want to venture in and know the risk. Know how much risk you can accept and do it. Fear no one.. but your self!

Yes, you don’t have to spend penny to have your website added on the search engine. You mostly pay the premium if you want your ads or website appears in the limelight. But other than it’s free! I just love things that are free

I finally received the cost of my speeding ticket and I really feel bad why I got a ticket. The cost is $400 and the cost for going to traffic school is different, that is another $25. It’s huge amount of money that I can use for buying new laptop. ;( I didn’t know that speeding ticket could cost this much. I haven’t made a decision if I plead guilty or request a trial. I’m wondering if my sister’s pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney can give me additional information if I pick the option for a trial.

I’m really not happy every time I think about it..

The country I came from is considered a tropical country so having floor tiles is perfect to ease the hot weather when summer comes. A carpet is not really advisable because it can easily collect dust and will not help cooling the house on warm weather. This is one of the renovations I’m planning when we go back in Manila. Growing up in a poor family, it happened to us too borrowing money from friends, neighbors and families. Every time my mom received her salary, it all goes to paying her debt. We know that we should just live on what we have but sometimes what we have is not really enough for us, thus, borrowing money cannot be avoided. I valued what my mom said that when you borrow money, you have to make sure to pay it so you can borrow again when you need it. And I never forget that. She also said to be upfront to that person and tell the truth if you cannot pay it on time because hiding or running away will not help but will make things worse.

I have lesson learned about lending and borrowing money to your friends. I normally lend money not because I have too much overflowing money on my bank account, but I often see the need to that person and I just want to help. Thinking that this person may not pay me back was already considered. But of course I don’t see it that way, because I considered that person to be my friend and that they will not run away from me. I also considered the risk that this friend of mine will be no longer my friend if they start hiding and avoiding me. No, it’s not that I don’t want them to be my friend anymore but they are the one pushing you away from their life. lol So get it, leave-them-alone!

Therefore, my lesson for myself now, is never lend money to friends, especially if it will involve big amount. I have to consider that I have family in need too that looking my friend’s financial problem is not my responsibility.

I had two car accidents in the last four months. No collisions are my fault. I did not hire a lawyer on my first accident because I thought the damage was not that bad. However, I experienced worst back, neck, and shoulder pain. So I went to a chiropractor and paid my treatment out of my pocket. I thought the 3rd party insurance will reimburse me for my medical cost.. but it end up they don’t want to. So I consult my current lawyer if they are willing to handle my case. I’m so thankful that they did. The property damage on my first accident is less than $1000 and the first lawyer that I consulted did not accept my case because of that. The second lawyer accepted my case just for courtesy and I feel that they really care about me. They said that they will help me at least get all my medical cost reimbursed.

But don’t get me wrong, you can still be successful in venturing to franchised business.
