I read this great article from a magazine and I just want to share the information that really amaze me how God created our intrinsic body parts ;)

We’re aware that residents of ancient cities built defensive walls to ward off invaders. The city wall acted both as a bulwark to stop the enemy and as a rampart from which defenders could protect the city. Your body is likewise endowed with a protective “wall”—your skin. How does your skin protect you from intruders? The surface of your skin teems with bacteria and other microorganisms, some of which can cause infection and disease. Your skin apparently does more than act as a passive barrier. It also seems to ward off invaders by producing antimicrobial proteins, or peptides, that act as defenders. Some of these are on duty constantly. Others line up when the skin is damaged. The first two groups of antimicrobial peptides discovered, called defensins and cathelicidins, proved to be defenders on call. Both groups are secreted by cells in the upper skin in response to injuries or inflammation. They kill invaders by punching holes in their cell membranes.

In 2001 a team of researchers at the University of Tübingen, Germany, found another type of germ-fighting protein, called dermicidin, which is active all the time. Unlike the other two groups, dermicidin is produced by healthy skin, in the sweat glands. How this protein works is yet unknown. But the fact that perspiration helps ward off disease might explain why people who wash excessively are more prone to skin infections and eczema. And I’m thankful that eczema treatment is available for us.

Like an ancient city wall, our skin is a barrier against enemy invaders. Surely, you would agree with the psalmist who said: “How many your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have made.”—Psalm 104:24.

I remember scouting for the best diet program and pills that will work on losing weight, I even remember learning stuff from www.hcgdiet.net and almost was about to apply. However, my friend shared information about Atkins Diet, the program I’m familiar off the name but don’t really know that deep. I have impression that it’s not healthy because it lets you eat all the fats and for me that is unhealthy. lol

I’m like that, so quick to judge sometimes without verifying the facts. Anyway, I bought the book and read it as fast as I can to educate myself more about this diet. And I realized that this is the diet that will surely work for me. So there it goes.. my Atkins life begins ;)

I definitely need to sign up to this online site to sell books! I accumulated too much CPA review books that I need to get rid. I spent thousands of money for these books but every year it change. I don’t need to house them in my bookcase anymore.. I have other books in the storage bin that has no space on the bookcase currently. They will be happy to have spot on the shelves too! ;)

I will be gathering these books soon!

I’m currently listening to the audio book about Buffett.  So far I was able to learn good things from it.  It was mentioned how Buffet use Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) when evaluating good value stocks. That is something I learned from college and now I understand where I can apply that knowledge.  lol

If you get a chance grab your copy at Amazon.com, it’s really cheap but the valuable information is priceless :D

I cleaned up my bookshelf to give some space for my daughter’s books and school materials. She wants her study table close to my desk in our bedroom. And I don’t disagree with it, I actually like it cause I can work with her assignment and at the same time spend my time online ;D Multi-tasking my duties!

Anyways, got a lot of CPA review books, pregnancy and baby books, exercise videos and other things up for sale. You can find the list here: busynessworld.com/sale ( I haven’t posted anything yet lol)

I also need to accumulate money for others things I want ;)

I owned books more than what I can read. lol Once I organized my stuff I will take photos of it and believe me I only flip couple or some pages but never had a chance to read from beginning to end.. Maybe on some that I truly need the information. I often rush to buy books when I want to learn something. But often I don’t have enough time to indulge in reading. How about you do you love books too?

Have you heard about Amazon’s revolutionary wireless reading device? Kindle! It’s so cool.. and I myself want one. It’s a wireless portable device that you can store books purchased online. So if you put 10 books on it.. you can bring that 10 books in just one device. Isn’t that cool?

The only negative I found is the price.. It is pricey for $ 399. Probably if it gets down to $100 then I will consider buying one. ;) But not with $399 tag!

Go to Amazon site for more information and view the video as well.
