I found myself browsing and comparing Nikon dSLR again. Yes, I’ve been reading camera reviews to get good feedback on what will be my selection for upgrades. I don’t have the money yet.. just looking and will try to save for the price. I have not found one that will replace my D80. I mean tons can replace it.. but can’t get the amount on my finance side. lol But I’m glad that easy camera comparison and camera feedback is available online to educate us consumer before buying it.  Another reason why I’m thankful for the internet

The Sony VAIO system looks very promising but it’s not enough to convince me to get one. My top choice is still Dell and followed by HP. I’m not into Apple products yet.. not their PC. I found Apple products too pricey! I love Dell because I own 3 computers and I never had a problem.. okay, maybe I have but only minor things, not enough to whine and bring the product out or down of my top list. And buy.com always has best deal that is hard to beat but local stores.

I sent my mini laptop computer or netbook to my family in Manila. I remember I cleaned it up and remove my user ID and put my sister in law’s name as the new password. However, they cannot open the admin account =( I feel bad cause they are very excited to use it and then it won’t work. The solution I found online requires a CD-Rom and Dell Mini doesn’t have one. I also read the option of USB but the program cost $89. Ayaaay! I haven’t called the support because we cannot find the box. Hope they can figure it soon..

I already bid goodbye to my Dell netbook last Saturday. I gave it to my sister in law since they need a computer at home for the kids. I consider netbooks as one of my needs but I can survive with only a laptop for now. I might upgrade to a new laptop soon and I will consider the size smaller than 14.1” but I need a laptop with the power and not just for surfing the web. And I know that Dell offers XPS with only 13” that is really perfect for what I need. So the next step for me is saving for funds.

My brother is asking me to get prices for lamb motor. If you will ask me what is it for.. I have no idea too.  My brother is the one needing it and I’m sure he knows what is this for. I will definitely ask him what this can do.  Anyhow, this is what it looks like:

I need to do all my task before I go to bed tonight. I will go back to work tomorrow and that means that I will be tired when I get home. I’m happy that I was able to check all these things my brother is asking from me.

I asked my husband what is the difference between the industrial computer and the personal computer. He told me but I wasn’t able to understand it clearly. So I googled it but I still didn’t get the clear about these two. But based on the types of industrial computer available for sale, I think it refers mostly on computers that are cater for the needs of a specific industry. They are more powerful than the personal computer and more option to upgrade. Hope I got it right.

I’m not talking about myself but my computer. I need to back up other files on my computer because my C drive is full and it’s not letting me download files anymore. I have the 2nd EHD my husband got me but I have no time to work on it. I rather browse and look online for things on sale than move my files.

Four months ago, we switched to a different cell phone plans so I can get a new phone. Sometimes I’m so greedy with the free stuff that I get instead of focusing of the service provider. Anyway, hubby and I got new unlocked cell phones. I got the pearl blackberry and he got a black one. But I was having a hard time using it.. so I went back using my old Nokia phone and sold the freebie phone I got. Good thing one of my friend who is going back in Manila needs two cell phones. I’m so happy to sell my phone to him for $100.

So here I am again wishing for a new phone.. but this time I will stick to the brand that I know I will not have a hard time using it.. Nokia.

If I will have a lot of money to splurge in shopping, I will spend it in buying electronics. Yes, I will not spend it buying clothes, shoes, make ups or jewelries. :p Sounds odd to hear from a female but I enjoy having more gadget than make ups. lol I have more electronics on my wish list than any other stuff. And hubby and I agrees on this one

Talking about my unending wish list.. I just added a new viewsonic monitorthat I want to replace my current monitor. There’s nothing wrong with my monitor now..except that I find it small every time I look at my husband monitor. lol I know it’s a crazy reason to have a new one. But sometimes I like to look at my trading chart in bigger screen. I need to convince hubby to replace my monitor to a bigger screen

I got two 4GB Apple Nano and one 1GB shuffle to give to my sister and niece on my husband side. I got it free because Steve Jobs and I are friends. *lol* (joke! But I have a previous officemate who was one of Steve Job kid’s peer and said that every holiday they received Apple stuff as a gift… cool huh? He also said that they are very good and really nice family.)

I like Apple stuff but it’s too expensive. The cost outweighs my desire to consider a MacBook. So I will just settle owning an ipod and patronizing iTunes.

I spoke to my sister this morning and she said that the computer I sent two months ago is really slow. My husband didn’t check it before we sent the package. Anyways, the problem is not huge though, it just needs to increase the computer memory to avoid the slow processing. So I’m looking at the best deal for the upgrade that they will do.

I’m glad that both computers I’m using at home are working right. Fast, easy, and connecting to internet is a bliss. However, my mom’s desktop needs a lot of upgrade. So one of the things on top of our list is to buy memory and that will help to increase the speed of her computer. Yes, all the room in our house has computers.. *lol* we’re not rich our hi-techy family. It only happened that my husband and I accumulated too much computers in our life.

Hubby wants to buy some air tools for his project. I know that by using the right tools it can make the job done quickly. I just hope that he will only get what he needs and will not spend over our budget. My husband mentions that he will need to buy air hammer and air grinder. I’m just not sure the specs of what the exact tools he need. I found some tools online at Etools.com and I will ask hubby to look the stuff he needs there.

Two weeks ago I lost money because my trade was not able to close on time. Hubby was not able to catch it and my fault too for not setting the rate to close.

Anyway, because of what happened, I looked for pc card that I can use and access my laptop at work. I brought once my laptop if I can catch any signal but sadly no signal at all. I have internet at work but I cannot install the trading station that I am using and cannot browse my statement online.

I have the USB that I bought from Amazon with Verizon service but haven’t installed it on my laptop. Just need to do my other assignment and then will disconnect the internet at home and test it.

The equipment is free but you have to pay the $35 activation plus the $60 monthly charge. It’s like paying for another cellphone line.

Do you remember the time when digital cameras are not that common to an ordinary household? I can still remember how my sisters and I get disappointed after printing our film and no images where completed. It could be wrong way when film was taken out from the camera, it could be that the film was damaged after taken out, or the camera were accidentally opened and exposed the film. The money we spent paying those films to be developed is really expensive. I remember that we pay Php 100 deposit for 36 shots film and around Php 115 if all are completed. And I think that time the cost of a 36 shot film is around Php 65-100. Don’t forget that this costing is in the year of 2001 and 2002.

After all the technology transformation, using the film camera is so impractical now. Unlike digital cameras you can view the shot before printing it or delete if you don’t like it. Don’t you agree that this could be one of the best gadget evolutions in our years?
