Our backyard is landscaped by my husband with the goal in mind that kids can play but without the thought to accommodate visitors. =) I cannot wait to change the landscape and add some patio cushions to accommodate friends. I would love to prepare some bbq with friends in our backyard too. :D

This is the typical bbq that Filipino gathering always have ;) A real pork meat not hamburger or hotdog.

After the pinch I felt on my heart the other day, I am now planning to reduce bad cholesterol on the food I eat. To plan healthier meals is a challenge; I need to love preparing food in the kitchen and to be strong enough to avoid temptation. Therefore, my plan tonight is to go grocery shopping at Costco. I need to buy greens for my salad and some fruits too. I also started my research on what food is low in bad cholesterol but good in heart. I really need to be healthy.

We know that the best way to lose weight is easy. I mean saying it easy but hard to apply. Just eat right and increase activity and you will surely loose weight. Sounds easy right.. but why our population still have overweight and obese? Oh well!

I feel frustrated after I ate a lot. I hate myself for not controlling my appetite. I hate, hate bingeing! It’s not fun.

I haven’t blog about owning a Total Gym. :D That’s one of the nice part in my life now.. hehhehe

According to the result of my x-ray on my back for our car accident, I have a mild or just starting arthritis on my back. I was shocked to have this illness this young. And this is the reason why I searched for the best arthritis treatment to help me stop full-grown arthritis in the future. The best is by nutrition and exercise. I added Glucosamine and Chondroitin to the supplements that I take every day. And I’m trying to lose weight to lessen the tension on my joint because of heavy weight. So far, I’m doing great and if feels better compared to my self when we just had the accident. I hope that this will continue and improve the result of my back exam in the future.

I was browsing my photo folder and saw this one:

That is the word how my mom describes me. lol But I want to give justification why I’m not greedy! I was browsing SkyAuctions.com and stumbled on this restaurant certificates. I was thinking to only try if there’s any certs available in Sacramento area. And I think they read what’s on my mind.. so I found one that is exactly located in downtown Sacramento :D So I got excited! Imagine $19 for $50 worth of certs in a nice restaurant? So I grabbed 6 certificates that is equivalent to $300! Bwahahaha and my mom told me that I’m greedy for grabbing that much. Of course I won’t use it one time. Hihihi So happy! So next is to find time to go there. ;) So you see I’m not greedy at all.. I’m just wise. And besides, I’m not the only one who will use this certificates.. I will share it to my family. bwahahaha

My brother in-law was very thankful about the California wine clubs that I introduced to him. He said that the wine club never stopped surprising him with the taste of wine he’s receiving regularly. I’m really glad the he likes it. I will introduce it to my co-workers too as I found out that they also like to explore wine tasting. It seems like they are not done with the quest for the best wine taste ;)

My mom and I are watching the “Imbestigador” show on TV. I cannot believe how disgusting the food preparation of taho.. That’s one of my favorite and knowing the unsanitary environment how this food were prepared gives me an odd feeling. Seeing all the bad things gives me an idea if I really wanted to go home :D hahahah I really swear not to eat any street food. I think the manang who prepares the nilupak in our neighborhood (which I don’t eat because I find her dirty) seems cleaner than the food I saw on the show. I wonder why this kind of business in our country can still survive?
